According to the AJC, Atlanta is one of nine cities being considered for Google’s new ultra fast, fiber optic internet and television service.  The service is called Fiber.  The service is 100 times as fast as your current internet service or 1 gigabit per second.

Google acquires SlickLogin

Google recently acquired the Israeli company SlickLogin.  This acquisition is said to help Google provide better account security. “The Tel Aviv-based company, which only began working on its product in August, was founded by three graduates of the Israeli Defence Force’s cyber security programme.” Source: LondonEveningStandard.co.uk
